BLONDIE

BLONDIE - a beautiful and practical mainly plain coloured short sleeved dress in DK-weight cotton. The pattern is quite simple - alternate stripes in stocking st and moss st.
The lace borders in the tip colour make a nice detail.
The dress has been worked in rounds until armholes but it can easily bee worked flat. Both ways are described in the written pattern with chart for the lace pattern - as well as description for working the lace.
This beautiful dress applies to girls.
Required skill level from 1 (basic) to 5 (advanced): 3↑.
The measurements given throughout the pattern are all in cm as well as in inches.

Yarn: this design applies for a DK-weight cotton, 50 g = ca. 125 meters. In total 350 - 400 - 500 - 550 g divided in 250 - 300 - 400 - 450 g in col. A (here red) and 100 g in col. B (here cyclamen).
The original model was made in CABLÉ, 100 % Egyptian cotton, from Campolmi Roberto Filati in Florence (Firenze), Italy.
