LEONORA - a beautiful woollen pinafore dress for the girl. The wool is a 4-ply weight (fingering). The model is worked from top towards bottom. The upper part is in large ribbed
pattern whereas the striped skirt is worked in stocking st. The work has mainly been made in rounds on circular needles - or you can work flat front and back separately
and then stitch together by sewing. Everything is well explained in the pattern which includes a chart for the coloured stripes.
A nice and enjoyable knitting.
